  1. loordgek I've tried updating and downgrading to java 7 and even 6. the same problem happens.
  2. I tried switching to 1.7.0_60, but I had the same problem
  3. I installed 1.7.10 forge 10.13.0.1170, no mods. When I launch Minecraft, everything is fine, until I get to the "starting" screen. I can't explain it but here: I have tried installing previous versions of forge, but they have the same problem, or they don't launch at all. No log is created, these are the contents of my .minecraft folder. I had recently reset it to try to fix it, but no luck: The music and buttons work by the way. I am using java 1.8.0_05_b-13 aka java 8 update 5.
