Will it still work in the Forge file?

So I'm trying to run Forge using a different directory using the Game Directory check box (.minecraft/Forge).

 

But when I try to install Forge there, it displays an error. It says: "This directory is missing a launcher profile. Please run the Minecraft Launcher first"

 

But I DID do that! Does it mean launcher.jar?
