I'm getting a odd error for buildcraft out of what it tells me in magic launcher is "status no forge" but forge universal 230 is first on the mod list.
[update. yeah it not recognizing forge universal 4+ as having forge in it. it see's forge in 3.3 but isnt' compatible with the newer mc]
