  1. alright, thank you for the help/input will start making necessary changes.
  2. Damn, is it really that simple? Was hoping to just run 1.6.4 for a good throwback server with some friends. Should I just go to 1.7.2 or is it best to update all the way to 1.7.10?

  4. Hey guys I made an account to find help to this specific problem I am starting a forge server using 1.6.4 for myself and some friends to play on. I am currently building my modpack to use, so I am running test plays over and over again to be sure my mods work together appropriately, but I just downloaded the actual Forge server rather than the client and am coming to this following issue. I am launching my server test world, and whenever I go to use any block from a mod it is placed and instantly disappears, on my NEI I can click on any mod item and I will receive the messege, "No item with id xxxx exists". If I could receive some feedback onto what I am doing wrong that would be greatly appreciated. All of my mods are opened through the use of 7-zip and are all zip files, to where as my server and minecraftforge-universal are opened through java as executable java files. Thank you again in advance for any help I can get on this.
