Ok i think i figured it out. with the newer forge version you have to download the source it comes with a installer type thing that you put in the mcp directory and run.

already tried multiple times.

the error its saying has something to do with retroguard but only does it with forge.

I updated my java jdk thats not the issue is there a tutorial on how to decompile forge?

Yea it was fresh. still the same error maybe i havent installed the latest java jdk but that cant be the issue can it? i can still decompile a jar without forge installed on it.

so install the same mod i just installed for the client into the server jar and drop the server jar into the jars folder in mcp correct?

ah i didnt install the server jar do i need it? i just wanted to start of making the client side of it.
