Ok I can see and choose forge in profile menu but when I click play the game never launches? is this an on going problem and how do I fix it? Not sure how link log like the other sorry. ok I got forge to download and install, do I need to be playing as the user Forge for the mods to work? As you can tell I'm really lost here.

I just started playing mindcraft a week ago. I watched a video about a drill box thing and wanted that. etc. etc. couldn't figure out the download thing so I ended up here. I downloaded this and it says I need to run 1.7.10 manualy first. not sure what to do. I am playing on a server with a friend will this still work or how do mods work?
