I got it working, but not with the stuff I had, Im going to have to re-code everything. Is there a way to update a mod without having to re-code everything?

I don't know how to run the Gradlestart as the main file. How do I do this?

PS. I am on a mac

So I began modding a little while ago. When I first started, I wanted to check if the client would run, but it didn't. I didn't read the log for that since I thought it was because I had nothing on the mod. But after I finished, I hit run, but it still crashed.
