    Forge isn't opening. Minecraft runs fine

    I have a windows 8 laptop i3 Processor. minecraft forge has always worked i have reset my laptop to factory settings and I have re downloaded minecraft. It works perfectly but I got a minecraft forge downloaded 1.6.4 (recommended) its nothing to do with the java runtime enviroment its 7 not 8. 64 bit aswell I put on forge and when I press play it loads something then the launcher closes and thats it I really need help I love minecraft modded when I can choose the mods.
