After downloading and uninstalling forge, then updating java and then reinstalling forge and trying to find out why optifine wasn't working and installing 1.8 instead of 1.8.1, I have to say I've succeeded and I'm very happy to be here! Thanks so much for all the tutorial and faq pages.
