    Ah! That did it. My item is now a purple and black box, but at least it exists. I'll see if I can't figure it out some more from here. Thanks a lot.

    I've compiled it it into a .JAR file, put it into the mods folder, and attempted to launch the game.

    I'm very new at making a minecraft mod, and I'm stuck at trying to make a basic item. Whenever I try to run the mod, it crashes with this wall of errors: I'm using Netbeans to edit the files, and have the most recent versions of Minecraft Forge, Java, and Minecraft. I've looked around a lot but can't find a solution that works for me. Can anyone help?
