    ok i found it and now we are installing the forge. thank you for your help. i can figure most things out. sometimes i just need to be pointed in the right direction. now to install some mods. wish me luck on that.

    Trying to install Minecraft Forge. I've dl the 1.8 and have the "install client" checked. Error comes up says "You need to run the version 1.8 manually at least once." What am I doing wrong? I have Minecraft v1.8.3 Thanks for your help. I do apologize for being new at Minecraft and it's mods. World of tank mods aren't this hard LOL.
