  1. I want to disable music in the main menu and then play a custom music. The file is called menu1.ogg and it's located in net.tominocz.sounds.music.menu. This is part of a code which I have in MyButton.java : public void playPressSound(SoundHandler soundHandlerIn) { soundHandlerIn.pauseSounds(); //TODO soundHandlerIn.playSound(PositionedSoundRecord.createPositionedSoundRecord(new ResourceLocation("tominocz", "sounds/music/menu/menu1.ogg"), 1.0F)); } } But in the console it says following: [13:05:36] [Client thread/WARN]: Unable to play unknown soundEvent: tominocz:sounds/music/menu/menu1.ogg Any ideas how to unload the music and play my own(without the main menu's music randomly playing in the backgroud)?
  2. So I just made a new package. I called it assets.PAYDAY2.sounds.music and I also put the sound file called menu.ogg there. So here's my the code: soundHandlerIn.playSound(PositionedSoundRecord.createPositionedSoundRecord(new ResourceLocation("PAYDAY2", "sounds/music/menu.ogg"))); (tell me if it's allright) EDIT: It's not. [19:20:53] [Client thread/WARN]: Unable to play unknown soundEvent: payday2:sounds/music/menu.ogg PS: this music is supposed to play after pressing a button - only the playsound remains to complete, other is done.
  3. First you have to know: I just begun coding, so I almost don't know anything about it. Just some very small basics... I have this code for playing sounds: soundHandlerIn.playSound(PositionedSoundRecord.createPositionedSoundRecord(new ResourceLocation("music.menu"), 1.0F)); But how do I make it play my own music? let's say the sound file is called payday.ogg. Where do I put the file? What would the code look like? Plz help.
  4. Just begun coding and I'm lost in the coding..
  5. I just started so I'm totally lost in it.
  6. This seems to be alot simple.. but I'm a beginner and I don't know how to add Main Menu Buttons. This is in the main class(no errors): package com.tominocz.PAYDAY2; import java.util.Calendar; import java.util.Date; import net.minecraft.client.Minecraft; import net.minecraft.client.gui.GuiScreen; import net.minecraft.client.gui.GuiYesNoCallback; import net.minecraft.client.renderer.texture.DynamicTexture; import net.minecraftforge.fml.common.Mod; import net.minecraftforge.fml.common.Mod.EventHandler; import net.minecraftforge.fml.common.event.FMLInitializationEvent; import net.minecraftforge.fml.common.event.FMLPostInitializationEvent; import net.minecraftforge.fml.common.event.FMLPreInitializationEvent; @Mod(modid = PAYDAY2Main.MODID, version = PAYDAY2Main.VERSION) public class PAYDAY2Main extends GuiScreen implements GuiYesNoCallback { public static final String MODID = "PAYDAY 2 Mod"; public static final String VERSION = "RELOADED"; private Minecraft mc; @EventHandler public void preinit(FMLPreInitializationEvent event) { } @EventHandler public void Init(FMLInitializationEvent event) { boolean flag = true; int i = this.height / 4 + 48; buttonList.add(new GuiPAYDAY2MenuButton(100, this.width / 2 - 10, i + 72 - 178)); } @EventHandler public void postinit(FMLPostInitializationEvent event) { } } And the main menu is still the same. Any ideas how to add the button there?
