This code should cancel the render of the model, it works, but the model is rendered:
//Scala @SubscribeEvent def onRenderItem(e:RenderSpecificHandEvent): Unit = { val item=e.getItemStack if(item.getItem.isInstanceOf[ItemCustomRender]) { println("test") //work, test e.setCanceled(true) println("test1",e.isCanceled) //work, test1,true } }
If RenderSpecificHandEvent is not designed to remove the model, then how do I get an empty model for my item?
Thank you in advance.

Extracting scala in a module is a great solution! As I understand it, Scorg will be a dependency for mods written on scala?

Can you use scala 2.12 in new forge builds? I would like to use the new advantages of the language and libraries for modding. Thank you in advance.

You share your code for this?

Does anyone on this forum has focused on building additions to Thaumcraft?
I wanted to exchange experiences.

It seems I understood: this event cancels the rendering only from the first person view.
