The Summoner Mod is as the name would suggest, a mod to summon creatures to do your bidding. This is my first mod, and it is inspired by other magic mods such as thaumcraft, blood magic and witchery. 
  
The mod is still early in development but I would like feedback from people as I am currently working on this alone. 
  
The first thing you are going to want to do is to find some Lifestone Ore , It glows slightly and will drop between 1 and 3 Lifestone shards https://s32.postimg.org/fwan18erp/lifestone_Shard.png[/img] with a random charge. 
  
With these you will want to craft an alter: 
 
  
and a Summoning Stone: 
 
  
You will also want some plinths: 
 
  
Now you can place your Alter in the world and right click it with your Summoning Stone to activate it. Then you can place your plinths around it, this can be done however you like as long as it is within 3 Blocks of the Alter. 
  
To summon creatures you simple place the relevant items in to the plinths , each only holds 1 item) along with with Lifestone Shards totalling at least the cost for summoning the entity.
