  1. Thank you very much Lex. It works :-) (I believe I tried this before I posted, but I think I added this argument to the existing arguments that show up in the launcher. I replaced them with yours and voila) thanks again and have a nice day sir
  2. I have to say I was hoping for some kind of help I'm probably missing something obvious... I've checked the EAQ before posting. Should I really try version 1.6.x of the Forge? (Seems pointless as I'm trying to run version 1.8. I'm clueless as to why that would be the thing to do unless the post suggesting v 1.6.x is outdated) I've tried the latest version from here http://files.minecraftforge.net/ i.e. v 11.14.1.1404 instead of the recommended 11.14.1.1334. No change. DO I have to downgrade my minecraft somehow as well apart from choosing the forge version in the launcher profile options? I have to say that there's tons of outdated info out there
  3. Hello everyone, I'm new to Minecraft modding (and minecraft itself as a matter of fact). I installed the Forge and I can't load/create any world when using forge version. The game crashes while loading a save; "Shutting down internal server" is the last thing I see, then it closes. Here's the crash log I get: http://pastebin.com/UAa6N1BC I haven't installed any mods yet (info in game says 3 mods but it's coder pack, mod loader and forge - I imagine these are there for a reason. I've tried disabling firewall and it didn't help. Thank you in advance for helping me resolve this issue. best regards torbab
