I have been working to get the Portal Gun Mod to work on Minecraft for a long time now. Many errors have occurred, and as soon as I fix one, another shows itself. To start, I downloaded Forge version 251. I had mods Mod Loader, Audio Mod, (Gun mod I can't remember name of), TooManyItems, and a Tower Defense mod. I had to use version 254 or later. I downloaded version 297, and the game automatically freezes, this time not until I open a world. Just after I see the first chunk, total freeze, and then a crash message. I assumed it was a compatibility issue, so I downloaded the EXACT version the mod said I needed. At this pointed I had uninstalled all types of mods by re-patching using mcpatcher. Minecraft was almost unmodified. I instill just version 254, and nothing else. Same problem. Tried again without mcpatcher. Same problem. I have determined that the problem is with Forge, and not Portal. Please help? Note: The most recent issue did not send me this type of report, but a report of a full Minecraft crash. That is included after the Forge crash. 2. At first, I installed Modloader, then Audiomod, then Forge, then Portal, but eventually the same problem existed down to using just Forge, then Portal. 3. Searched all over Google, scanned over the Portal mod homepage, and read briefly through the Forge forums. Note: I am using a friend's account. I do not own it. It is used with his permission.
