  1. So, I did a clean forge run of the newer forge (11.14.3.1450) and it brought up a strange page of loading bars that seems to have fixed forge. I can use optifine, but the shaders mod causes a black screen in game. I will continue troubleshooting this problem on my own. Thanks Lex, Moose_the_Vast
  2. In all menus, the buttons and text are replaced with the lava texture. I have attached images of the error, as words do not do it justice. This problem was introduced after MC updated from 1.8.3 to 1.8.4, even though I don't use those game versions. It is persistent and makes the game unplayable. I am running MC 1.8. "Menu Page" is the error on start up, "menu page 2" is the error after navigating to any sub-menu, as well as returning to the main menu. If I try to open the game, sounds play but there is only a black screen. Also included are the mods I had installed, in the order I installed them. Pictures Included Forge versions 1.8-Forge11.14.1.1334 and 1.8-Forge11.14.3.1450 both exhibit the problem. 1.8-Forge11.14.1.1334 was working previously, with all mods listed. Also attached are the minecraft client log and the FML log, "latest" and "fml-client-latest" respectively. MC Client Log FML Log These logs were created on a run where I attempted to play a world. I was presented with a black screen upon entering the world. I hit escape to free my mouse, then simply closed the window out. When I play on my normal profile (i.e. without forge), I have no issues. I have not found any resources that help with this issue after fairly extensive research. If you need any other information, please let me know. EDIT: To clarify, I stated the error as non-fatal because it does not force a crash, not because MC is playable.
