I just installes the newest version and the game crashed again. first blackscreen, then mc crash report. This time i used the .jar installer and not the win exe. I add everything I got. May be my problem is not that hard so solve ( as long as somebody checks it who is used to bug reports and stuff like this) installer jar log: mc crash report game output (don't even know what it is but maybe it helps?) what's in the .json file: fml-client-latest fml-junk-earlystartup latest I think that should be everything. I don't know what else I could do. I hope you guys can help me

I tried to run the newest forge with an other pc but it was the same as in this case here. The installer seems to work for other people. I wonder why it doesn't work for me. I couldn't find any clues in the release notes. I have seen countless youtube tutorials and I was searching a lot for this kind of problem but nobody has this kind of problem

I installed the latest forge version vor 1.7.10 now. I know nothing about java. looking at the log file, I only see some numbers and random inputs. Hello everyone. It has been a while since I played minecraft mods so I got me a fiew and crafted a bit. I used forge version 10.13.3.1370 which was the last version that worked for me. When I tried to add a mod to my game, it requested forge 10.13.3.1395+ to be installed so I tried to update my forge like I always did. Downloaded the win installer, selected the .minecraft folder and "tried" to install forge. The first thing I noticed (appeared to happen with any version since the .1370): the forge profile has not been updatet like usually. It said: ver XXXXXXXX1370 blah blah. I manually edited the profile then nd selected the new forge version, started the game and it crashed even bevore the mojang logo. The crash report pops up and so on.. I reinstalled minecraft, removed all mods and reinstalled forge (latest version). Now I had the forge profile but it said: Ready to update & play minecraft 1.7.10 blablabla. CRASH Again, I installed the 1370 version. it said ready to play and worked. I checked the .minecraft folder and took a look at the profiles folder. The 1370er version had a .jar and a .json file, the latest forge version created 2 sub-folders and a .json. I think that is the problem here. I deleted everything again, downloaded minecraft 1.7.10, installed forge and took a minecraft.jar copy out of the 1.7.10 ver. folder but the problem remained unsolved. Since it is forbidden to post a crash report here (and may be pointless to do so) I wrote every step I tried. Is there nothing I can do to make it work ? Minecraft crashes with and without mods. It doesn't matter. My PC has win8 installed, java is up to date and I just don't know what else I can tell you. Don't be too harsh, since my english might not be too good.
