i've been all over this and everyone says to fix it just turn down the view distance, din't work for me. minecraft just sticks on "shutting down internal server after a few minutes and stays there forever as far as i'm aware. i did manage to log in to a server for 10 seconds before getting a black screen though i don't know why that was, not my server.
