But its not working in game. If I click the Mods button on the Main Menu it reads: Minecraft Coder Pack 9.05 0 child mods Forge Mod Loader 8.0.99.99 0 child mods Minecraft Forge 11.14.3.1450 0 child mods Is that correct?

I put OptiFine_1.8.0_HD_U_D5.jar in the mods dir

Properly confused now What do I need to do to install the mod then? Could you point me to a link? I have put the .jar file in the mods dir? Also why does it say Optifine at the Main Menu?

Hi, Thanks again for the help!! I have got Minecraft to load using the version that the forge installer installed. When I am at the title screen it reads: Minecraft 1.8 MCP v9.10 FML v8.0.99.99 Minecraft Forge 11.14.3.1450 Optifine Optifine_1.8_HD_U_D5 3 mods loaded, 3 mods active But click the mods button it reads: Minecraft Coder Pack 9.05 0 child mods Forge Mod Loader 8.0.99.99 0 child mods Minecraft Forge 11.14.3.1450 0 child mods When I load a new single player game it still looks the same and then if I go to the Mod Options Menu it reads: Test 1 TEST 2 DISABLED Sorry for being such a damn noob!!

Hi, Minecraft Version: 1.8.8 Mineforge Version: forge-1.8-11.14.3.1450 Mod: OptiFine_1.8.8_HD_U_E2 Java Version: Pretty much everyone I could find! Using 7.55 atm Forge Log (I think ): http://pastebin.com/CEZ4T1Js First off brand new to Minecraft and loving it!! I can load Minecraft with the Forge profile select and no mods in the mods folder no problem but if I add any mod file to the folder after I click Play, the loader closes and that is it. Is there a particular version of Java that I need or am I just being completely stupid? Cheers, Auth
