  2. this is the log from notenoughitems 1.8...I'm assuming this is a useable mod for this version;
  3. I loaded Java 8 update 60 yesterday in an effort to fix...it did not. regarding this; "You installed CoFHCore for 1.7.10 on 1.8. That doesn't work." I installed forge versions mentioned before with default options. It created a forge profile in the launcher that references 1.8 jar in the forge profiles .json file. I am not sure what you are suggesting I do?? Change the forge profile to use an earlier version of minecraft? sorry I'm new...

  5. minecraft launcher 1.6.13 forge forge-1.8-11.14.3.1502 install everything from scratch several times tried 1502 and 1450 build of forge. open using forge profile and 3 mods active (default). Placing any other mod (.jar file) in mods folder causes no effect (no active mods) or crash. I am using OSX 10.9.5. I have tried with "too many items" and many other forge mods in .jar form. I do not see the log files referenced in my system. I only have the following;
