RF Lasers
I've always loved Industrial Craft 2's mining laser, but truthfully I've never been a huge fan of the EU energy system. This mod adds a set of lasers powered by redstone flux which allow you to easily and conveniently mine from a distance. Right clicking the laser (while it's charged, of course) will fire a transparent beam of energy that will break blocks.
