  1. OK, think I worked this out for myself,,,, When you launch Minecraft, edit the Forge profile and call it the relevant forge version, and change the profile directory to the relevant version eg. AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\versions\1.8-forge1.8-11.14.3.1512 To use mods, you'll need to install/save them to the Mods folder in this version.
  2. I'm new to mods. I installed Forge for 1.7.10 for my daughter to use Jurrassicraft and all working fine and was able to get some other mods loaded and working I wanted to load Forge for 1.8 to use with some other maps i'm playing so I renamed the profile Forge 1.7.10 and downloaded Forge for 1.8 and created new Forge profile. . When I launch minecraft using the new Forge profile it won't launch and get the following error: Tried a couple of different versions of forge but all the same problem...
