I've fixed it now. I looked on a similar forum post where you said to lower the render distance and it worked for me. I closed and reran minecraft to make sure it worked twice. Thank you for all your help!
Ok, so I changed the profile settings to find Java 8 and everything loaded fine. I tried to join the server and the whole game crashed.
Here is the crash report: https://gist.github.com/anonymous/86bf301c467170c880f9
And the latest log: https://gist.github.com/anonymous/b353b1b004e582f70ae3
I don't know how this isn't the full log, I'm copy and pasting everything that's there.
Sorry, here is the full log using GitHub: https://gist.github.com/anonymous/b5ee88dcba4304f9bafd
I don't understand why it's using Java 6, I've downloaded and verified Java 8. I've tried unistalling and reinstalling minecraft, forge, and Java, and yet it still says it's using Java 6.
I posted the fml-client-1.log I apollogize if this is not the correct log, it is what I read to post. Here is the fml-client-latest.log : http://pastebin.com/nEFvDPBy and I have updated to Java 8 as far as I know.
Hello, I'm trying to join a friend's modded server and when I go to run forge 1.7.10, it gets to the Mojang screen but stops at "Initializing mods Phase 1 2/7" and then stops responding.
Here is the link to my log: http://pastebin.com/ykhGv0hM
I'm not very good with troubleshooting these kinds of problems, so I don't know if it's a problem with the mods, forge, or my computer. I would really appreciate any help, thank you.
