Is this because of a cracked launcher? Before you guys close my thread or ban me,it would be best to let me explain my reasons of using a cracked launcher.. I will only tell my reasons if you want me to..... Thanks.

Same as last time; Forge installer starts and then minimizes and gets stuck.. IS there an alternate to forge? is there a way to run 1.7.10 mods on 1.8? I will try with another version of windows then..(through virtual OS) Need help Thanks,

Well I tried removing the launcher_profiles.json.. now forge installer is saying that I need a launcher_profile.json to install forge. How can I install forge if I delete the .json file? Also I tried deleting the file after forge installer started but same as last time. PLease Help!

Is that the reason why forge installation is failing? Can the universal jar of forge work?(I have no idea how to install that)

HI, I wanted to play a 1.7.10 forge mod.I downloaded 1.7.10 and started it.Everything works fine. Then I used the windows installer of forge. My forge installer starts but in the middle of the downloading,minimizes and doesn't open back up.If I hover over the icon in my taskbar it says "Mod system installer" So the forge installer is stuck right there until I close it's process.I have looked into the profile tab of the launcher but no forge profile for 1.7.10 is there.. This is happening to both my PC and laptop. Forge for minecraft 1.8 works though.. It would be nice if someone could help me.
