    Praise the Code God, it loads. Added a random minimap mod to test it, works perfectly, thanks! Is it etiquette to lock this thread since it's been answered or should I leave it to staff?

    Details: This is for Minecraft version 1.8.8, with the respective forge install Vanilla MC has zero issues MC crashes upon loading the main menu, causing my display driver to stop working, then "Nvidia OpenGL driver error 14" popping up I have the latest drivers for my laptop, although it is quite old and may not be supported anymore This is a fresh install with no mods except the forge installation Trying to see if this is a hardware issue, bug, or I'm just that bad at installing.
