  1. The problem stopped when I removed Optifine H0. The interesting thing is, if I run it with Optifine there's no problem, but if I run Optifine AND Forge, the problem happens even with no other mods. Is there any way I can have Forge and shaders on 1.8.9 without Optifine?
  2. So...when I run the single player game with Forge 1.8.9 1684 installed the game freezes up every 2 seconds rendering it unplayable, but when I run it without Forge it works fine. What's going on?
  3. Latest Forge for 1.8.9 (1674) works fine by itself, but crashes on launch with latest Optifine (G9). ---- Minecraft Crash Report ---- WARNING: coremods are present: Contact their authors BEFORE contacting forge // I blame Dinnerbone.
