    Forge Causing Lag in 1.8.9

    Heya, I'm having an issue with Forge causing lag spikes and other general lag issues. I'm running on a server that I'm hardlined into, I'm running Minecraft 1.8.9 and using Forge-1.8.9-11.15.1.1729. I removed all mods so it is just running Forge, and as long as i'm running the default resource pack it seems ok, but lags in some areas of my map with lots of entities, like fire. This wasn't an issue before using Forge and if I boot up without Forge there is no lag issue. It really gets bad if I attempt to use my favored resource pack Sphax PureBDcraft 128x MC18. It normally runs great with this pack, but once i started using forge the game became unplayable with any resource pack other than the default. Thanks in advance for any help you can give, I just don't want to give up on using Forge because I love my inventory tweaks, lol.
