    Minecraft doesn't start when i click launch (1.8.9)

    hi, i'm using the default minecraft launcher. and i installed forge using the windows installer and the recommended version of forge, for minecraft 1.8.9. my problem is, when i click launch it runs the downloads but instead of lunching minecraft like normal. it just finishes the downloads and sits there. as if i never clicked launch. the launcher log displays this [13:37:27 ERROR]: Gave up trying to download http://resources.download.minecraft.net/3d/3d98b4b7c37a09101da00d8a3078e0acba6558f4 for job 'Resources' the log for the forge installer: http://pastebin.com/jKHQ2SHP
