Hmm I copied the files into the directory yet it still won't work, thanks for your help though.

I already have tried this and it made no difference, I put this in my minecraft file, it doesn't need a separate folder for using multimc, do I? Thanks for the help but I need a different fix I have also gone into my firewall and created a filter to specifically let minecraft through.

OK, well basically when I start up my minecraft with the latest version of forge installed, it all loads up, then after saying Mojang, it simply black screens. It never comes up with a 'minecraft has crashed' message just stays black. Afterwards, I got my friend to send me his .jar file, and it still would not work, the same problem as above. After trying to do different things I tried using multimc. I used the forge from there, but when I use that and it loads up, it comes up with 'Fatal error starting up Minecraft or FML' The error I got the it was this At this point I was annoyed and I came on the forums forge forums, and I could not find a solution. If there is one I'm very sorry and may someone link me?
