    windows 10 downloading forge

    I have no clue what I am doing. None of anything I read makes sense I'm just trying to load this for my son so he can get mods. When I try to download forge and open it gives me an X and tells me I must open 1.7.2 manually first. I'm running windows 10. I really could use some help as I really know nothing about Minecraft or Forge.
