Leaving the textboxes aside for now, with the player rendering I think I have it working but I just need to know how I can actually rotate the player. What I want is for the player to be lying on it's front when using the glider, but I am not sure how to make the player model rotate. What I have currently is: public void preRenderTick(Minecraft mc, World world, float renderTick) { EntityHangGlider.updateGliders(world); final AbstractClientPlayer player = Minecraft.getMinecraft().thePlayer; if (!EntityHangGlider.isGliderDeployed(player)) { player.limbSwing = 0f; player.prevLimbSwingAmount = 0f; player.limbSwingAmount = 0f; GL11.glRotatef(90, 0, 0, 0); } } How do I make the GL11.glRotatef() rotate the player? Currently it doesn't do anything

In the text boxes, everything is called, the problem at the moment is that I can't get it to type on multiple lines, but with the Player Rendering, everything is called up to the actual player rendering method (onPlayerBodyRender()), which is the problem. Nothing is giving any errors at all. @Override is commented out in the ComputerMod because it is going to be used when I set up a class to make it a lot cleaner to put all the methods in rather than remaking them all in every class, but I haven't got around to doing that yet so it is just commented out.

I made two threads over on the Minecraft Forums, but despite many people trying to help, nobody seems to be able to find a solution. Does anyone here have any ideas? Threads: Player Rendering: LINK GuiTextBoxes: LINK

[1.8.9] GuiButtons constantly selected and can't be clicked

Anyone got any ideas or does it seem to have no solution? -
[1.8.9] GuiButtons constantly selected and can't be clicked
TheXnator replied to TheXnator's topic in Modder Support
Only calling super in init and nothing else works, with no buttons obviously, but when I do the same for the drawScreen class, the game will still give the same crash. and this -

I was testing out to fix the problem, I have removed all the things that I tried that people have said are incorrect, so my testing is not the problem -

TheXnator replied to TheXnator's topic in Modder Support
Could I not have the super.initGui in the initGui method but replace the drawbutton with calling the initGui mehod in the drawScreen method. After creating a new world, the super.initGui no longer crashes the game but without the drawButton it doesn't draw the buttons at all -
[1.8.9] GuiButtons constantly selected and can't be clicked
TheXnator replied to TheXnator's topic in Modder Support
The problem with the buttons is that they are there and all but they constantly render as though they have a mouse over them, with the light blue overlay, and when I click where they are rendering, it does nothing. Everything else in the DrawScreen method seems to work fine without the super.drawScreen and the super.initGui in the initGui method also crashes the game -

When I add the super.drawScreen, I get the following error when it tries to draw the GUI: -
I am having an issue where the buttons in my GUI are always selected, and I can't click them. I want the buttons to be able to change the background of the GUI, and the GUI class can be found here: https://github.com/TheXnator/ComputerMod1.8.9/blob/master/GuiLaptop.java I have been looking through the code and changing things for hours but I can't find anything that could be the problem.

[1.8.9] TileEntitySpecialRender class not being called?
TheXnator replied to TheXnator's topic in Modder Support
Thanks! Can't believe it was something so simple that I forgot! -
I am currently trying to render a laptop which will, when shift + r-clicked, open and close the screen, but I am having trouble with rendering the actual screen onto the base of the laptop. The base of the laptop renders fine, but the screen is not rendering at all. All of the code can be found on my github here: https://github.com/TheXnator/TheXnatorsMods/tree/master/ComputerMod1.8.9 TESR class: https://github.com/TheXnator/TheXnatorsMods/blob/master/ComputerMod1.8.9/src/main/java/thexnator/computermod/tileentity/render/LaptopRenderer.java TE class: https://github.com/TheXnator/TheXnatorsMods/blob/master/ComputerMod1.8.9/src/main/java/thexnator/computermod/tileentity/TileEntityLaptop.java Block class: https://github.com/TheXnator/TheXnatorsMods/blob/master/ComputerMod1.8.9/src/main/java/thexnator/computermod/blocks/BlockLaptop.java I believe that the issue is the TESR class not being called for some reason because when using a sysout in the class to check if it is doing anything, nothing is printed to the console.

[1.8.9] No WorldRenderer.begin() method and NBT error
TheXnator replied to TheXnator's topic in Modder Support
Turns out I was just being an idiot, and for some reason when I made the workspace it used the 1.8 forgesrc files rather than 1.8.9
