It's been a while since the last post. However, if it comes up in a search for someone, I wanted to share a solution I had for the "more limbs" or too many body part problem. Check to see if you are using a render method on both the parent and child of a model. If the legs are children of the body, you need body.render NOT body.render, rtleg.render, and lftleg.render.
