Thanks guys, I made a few changes to my mod to get it to work, I did use that "extends ItemSimpleFoiled" and made a new class for enchanted items themselves, may not have been the best way but it seems to work, so thanks again.

Hey does anyone know how to make an item have the enchantment glow when it's not actually enchanted just like a nether star?
-
Thanks everyone it works now, and yeah I'm not the best with java but I can do most of the needed stuff.
-

And I'm usign eclipse and I was getting an error but I tried the item from block before and got an error too. package com.MonstrousApple.mod.handler; import com.MonstrousApple.mod.blocks.MABlocks; import com.MonstrousApple.mod.items.MAItems; import net.minecraft.item.Item; import net.minecraft.item.ItemStack; import net.minecraftforge.fml.common.IFuelHandler; public class MAFuelHandler implements IFuelHandler { @Override public int getBurnTime(ItemStack fuel) { if(fuel.Item.getItemFromBlock() == MABlocks.CompressedCoalBlock) return 80000; return 0; } }

Hi, I can't seem to get blocks to work, only items, does anyone know what I should do? This is my code: package com.MonstrousApple.mod.handler; import com.MonstrousApple.mod.blocks.MABlocks; import com.MonstrousApple.mod.items.MAItems; import net.minecraft.item.ItemStack; import net.minecraftforge.fml.common.IFuelHandler; public class MAFuelHandler implements IFuelHandler { @Override public int getBurnTime(ItemStack fuel) { if(fuel.getItem() == MABlocks.CompressedCoalBlock) return 80000; return 0; } }

Hi guys, I have my code set up like this to drop different items from a certain block, however it only works with one item, what can I do to fix this? Also how do I get multiple items at certain chances to drop from one block? Thanks. package com.MonstrousApple.mod.ores; import java.util.Random; import com.MonstrousApple.mod.MAGlobal; import com.MonstrousApple.mod.items.MAItems; import net.minecraft.block.Block; import net.minecraft.block.material.Material; import net.minecraft.block.state.IBlockState; import net.minecraft.item.Item; public class MAOre extends Block { public MAOre(String unlocalizedName, Material material, float hardness, float resistance) { super(material); this.setCreativeTab(MAGlobal.maCreativeTabOres); this.setUnlocalizedName(unlocalizedName); this.setHardness(hardness); this.setResistance(resistance); } public Item getItemDropped(IBlockState state, Random rand, int fortune) { return this == MAOres.SapphireOre ? MAItems.Sapphire : Item.getItemFromBlock(this); return this == MAOres.RubyOre ? MAItems.Ruby : Item.getItemFromBlock(this); } public int quantityDropped(Random random) { return this == MAOres.SapphireOre ? 4 + random.nextInt(5) : 1; return this == MAOres.RubyOre ? 4 + random.nextInt(5) : 1; } }
