  1. oh WOW I'm dumb. I saw the option for the other forge version in edit profile now, thanks so much for the help diesieben07! again sorry about needing to be lead through this to get it right. after checking the log with a few other mod version type stuff its working perfectly so Thank you again!
  2. you're right I checked my minecraft launcher, I had downloaded that newer version (...0.1957) and Used the .exe installer but it still comes up in my minecraft client as 0.1909 or something how do I get rid of the previous version of forge so I can install the correct one?
  3. for reference I had been attempting to use the later version 12.17.1957
  4. so it has to be specifically [Forge@[12.17.0.1936,)]? ill try to find it and use that and update this if it works.
  5. Where do I find the full fml log? I had tried looking in %appdata% .minecraft but I don't know where to find it after that.

[17:56:07] [Client thread/WARN]: Author: Paul Lamb, www.paulscode.com it tells me that my forge Isn't up to date and recommends version 12.17.0.1936 I figure that the very latest version I downloaded would work (12.17.0.1956) but after installing it It still gives me this message. was I supposed to uninstall the last forge version I had before some how before I did the new one? mods I was attempting to use with forge: blood magic chance cubes cooking for block heads fast leaf decay Journey map More furnaces mouse tweaks Optifine Pams harvest craft Project E T construct if there is any more info I need to give you to help me out with this problem please let me know!
