Had to go to 354 for Twilight Forest to work, FYI for anyone else trying the mod.

Not true, I absolutely wasn't using the pre-release. That's the version reported because that's what Forge is changing it to because it's what the latest release is compiled against. I just figured this out and came on here to post: When I tried to decompile forge with MCP to see if I could get some better error logging going on I kept getting modified client and server warnings and decompile errors and the version MCP was reporting after running the install.cmd file to merge the forge stuff was 1.4.3 but when I tried decompiling my vanilla jars with MCP's decompile.bat everything was fine. I noticed when trying to decompile Forge that MCP was saying the server and jar version were 1.4.3 so I downloaded the pre-release copied Forge into the jar and it works. To re-iterate the latest-latest release at http://adf.ly/673885/http://files.minecraftforge.net/minecraftforge-universal-6.2.1.356.zip is for 1.4.3 at least that's what's working for me: I don't know if the Twilight Forest mod works with 1.4.3, I haven't tried it. Edit: Twilight Forest doesn't work, not surprising though. I'll just use an older build.

I just want to throw in that I'm getting this same crash behavior too with the latest download with the vanilla launcher and Multi-MC. The vanilla launcher produces no error report. There is no log in .minecraft/ForgeModLoader-client/server-x.log either. I've never used forge before but I've been using Minecraft and mods since beta, I tried installing this 2 or 3 times making sure I followed all of the directions from a fresh download of 1.4.2, including deleting the META-INF folder. If I go back one version then it works up until I try to generate a new world. The only mod I was using with forge was the Twilight Woods mod in the mod folder, that seems to load OK.
