  1. Sure enough, that argument was causing the problem. It was a staple back in 1.7.10, but I guess it is no longer necessary. Sorry for taking up your time.
  2. I just remembered something: when is your code making that texture? Because I have a JVM argument left-over from 1.7.10: -Dfml.skipFirstTextureLoad=false that I had to use whenever there was more than ~200 new textures from mods (it would freeze while building the texture library if I didn't). I will try removing that argument and see what happens.
  3. This is happening with just Vanilla+Forge, no mods installed.
  4. Which Launcher are you using?
  5. You are probably getting tired of me by now, but I have another issue. When I try to load 1.10 Vanilla+Forge (no mods yet), I get the following game output: There is no /logs folder yet, so I can't include a FML log. Also, it doesn't load enough to crash, so there is no crash report. I have removed and reinstalled the profile, still have the same issue.
  6. If it helps any, this is the last 3 lines in the game output before the crash: [08:01:00] [Client thread/INFO] [FML]: Max texture size: 16384 [08:01:00] [Client thread/WARN]: Texture minecraft:textures/white.png with size 0x0 limits mip level from 4 to -1 [08:01:00] [Client thread/WARN]: textures: dropping miplevel from 4 to -1, because of minimum power of two: 0
  7. splash.properties is located at: /Users/[username]/AppData/Roaming/.minecraft/config Note that AppData is a hidden folder.
  8. I deleted my entire /install folder, had Curse re-download everything, and still had the exact same error. At this point, I'm beginning to think it may be a Curse issue.
  9. Deleted /assets, launcher downloaded assets, and then the same error showed up. Will try deleting my /install folder next.
  10. If it helps, when I have Opti-fine installed, it gives me this error: which has a x/0 error due to the texture scaling algorithm in Opti-fine
  11. Tried disabling the loading screen just now, received the same error.
  12. Got the following error: FML log file: This was JUST MC 1.9.4 and Forge, installed via Curse client. No mods installed.
