After changing the blockstate json file to cropTomato.json it worked perfectly fine.

1.8+ now use "MDKexample" Its no different

in which .json file? I changed the tomato.json to this and Im still getting the purple/black block.

I'm having trouble loading my crop textures in Minecraft 1.8. Here's my hierarchy. I copied pretty much everything wheat does. The crop grows and harvests correctly but it shows the purple and black block textures. Block Class & Crop Class Json Files If there's any information I missed that I needed to add to this.

I added a custom crop to my game, and it just simply crashes the game when I click the seed on the ground (Blocks.farmland) Seed Code & Crop Code inside the main class. Crop Class GameRegistry
