  1. Sorry for being hostile, but I made much bad experiences the last time I was on. Sorry if I hurt your feelings, I am really sorry. But nobody explained that to me, I just got answers like "Java doesn't support JAR mods". Really? 99% of mods have the jar-extension. Thank you very much for explaining that to me. But there's another thing I want to know: why are there DLLs in the version folder? I thought it was only possible to use DLLs with C++ or C# or something C-related. Anyway, sorry for being hostile and thanks for explaining.
  2. And by the way, what do you need my IP for? I know my IP changes about every 16 hours, but I am still wondering. If you don't want to tell me the reason, ignore this post and the post about the sourcecode above. I got some messages of some crazy persons who probably don't want that I get the Forge.jar for some reason. I guess they are scared that I could see the src and flip out when I post all the mistakes they made. There's no other explanation for such dumb replies and errors.
  3. Hello, can I find the sourcecode of Forge somewhere? If you don't want me to see what's inside Forge, then you got bad luck. I already decompiled the Installer.jar. But it would be great if you could give me the real Forge.jar (which was inside the versions folder before some idiot removed it). Thank you, that would fix a bunch of errors. I almost died while trying to fix them for 2 hours without success. They happened on 1.7.10 and 1.8.9. I know 1.7.10 is no longer supported, and it works fine on other versions, but it still spams the log with errors, and some of they seem like Java and Forge decided to troll me. "Let's troll SprengMeister02 by totally flipping out!" Best regards, SprengMeister02
  4. I forgot to say, on client worlds it's fine.
  5. With "jar", i mean the jarfile Forge put into the versions folder before some idiots got the idea "Let's remove JAR, force many errors, and don't help the users!".
  6. Hello everyone, today I started Forge and it crashed immediately as I joined a server. I tried to install it again, but it didn't work. Does anybody know what I can do? At 1.7.10, it's the same error, but I got no help, only posts like "Forge doesn't support JAR mods" WTF!? PLEASE, give me a helpful answer. If you can't help me, ignore this post. This channel is called "Support", not "Troll everyone". The version doesn't matter, it crashes on every version. I tried the jar installer, NOT the universal. Well then, here's the crash report: ---- Minecraft Crash Report ---- WARNING: coremods are present: CCLCorePlugin (CodeChickenLib-1.8-1.1.2.133-universal.jar) CodeChickenCorePlugin (CodeChickenCore-1.8-1.0.5.36-universal.jar) CCCDeobfPlugin (unknown) NEICorePlugin (NotEnoughItems-1.8-1.0.5.104-universal.jar) BOPLoadingPlugin (BiomesOPlenty-1.8-3.0.0.1391-universal.jar) ThaumcraftLoader (Thaumcraft-1.8-5.0.3.jar) MalisisCorePlugin (malisiscore-1.8-1.2.0.jar) Contact their authors BEFORE contacting forge // Uh... 7. Ok, thanks for posting this, you helped me a lot. I have some other errors, but they are not located here and it will take my a few minutes to fix them. ---THREAD CLOSED---
  8. Sorry for making a new reply, but the file has the same name as I wrote in the code.
  9. This was the whole class. Sounds incredible, but really has only 3 lines.
  10. Hello everyone, I need help with modding. I have a file for all vars needed in my mod. Looks as following: 1 2 3 public class VarlistNecromance I tried {}, end, ; and all other stuff. Would be great if somebody knows how to fix this, this is really annoying. Best regards, SprengMeister02 PS: Currently on 1.8, but if I fixed this I will update this mod for ALL versions from 1.7.10 - 1.10.2
  11. Hello everyone, does somebody know how to add a structure gen? MCreator told me that structures can't be bigger that 1600 blocks, so I wanted to try it on my own. I decompiled Doomlike Dungeons mod, and there is nothing like the stuff Mcreator imports from a .schematic-file. If somebody knows how to do this, then answer my question. Best regards, SprengMeister02 PS: I know some people hate MCreator for some reason, but DON'T TELL ME WHAT I ALREADY KNOW. I SAID I WANT TO TRY IT ON MY OWN, SO ANSWER THE QUESTION AND NOT THE OTHER STUFF. Thanks.
  12. No, there is no virus on Forge. But the Forge installer is a JAR on Mac, on Windows it's an EXE. Both are executable, so some Antivirus-programs mistake it with a virus. If you use Avira Antivirus, then deinstall and use some good like Avast. I used Avira and it tried to delete files. I deinstalled it, because it said I had no permission to delete a folder on my desktop, and it refused to let me install Minecraft. I deleted it, then everything worked fine. But sometimes, hackers write viruses in Java. I will explain that: the .minecraft folder is in the folder AppData, and this folder is probably hidden, so you can't delete files without some programs wouldn't work correctly. Forge installs files in .minecraft, so some Antiviruses might think it tries to install malicious code. But I've used Forge for over a yeas, and I never had safety issues or something like that. Best regards, SprengMeister02
  13. Hello everyone, Eclipse is not working. Here are the steps I did: Downloading forge and extract it in a folder called "forge" on my desktop Typing the command "gradlew setupDecompWorkspace eclipse" Downloading and installing eclipse Choosing the folder "eclipse" in the forge-directory Everytime I start Eclipse, I can't see a folder there. I am currently using Eclipse Neon, Forge 1.8, updating to 1.10.2 after fixing this. I tried everything, but this ****Eclipse still refuses to work. Best regards, SprengMeister02 PS: The newest version of JDK is installed.
  14. Hello everyone, I wanted to ask: Is it possible to get the JAR content somewhere, since Forge only installs .json and a folder with some .dll-files? Best regards, SprengMeister02 PS: If someone wants to open DLL, EXE, or MUI, use ResourceHacker.
  15. Hello everyone! I am new to Forge, up to now, I used MCreator to write small mods for myself, but now, I wanted to try it with Forge. So, I have downloaded Xray mod, and saw, that it supports several versions. So, I wanted to know, how can I make a mod supporting several versions? I read the tutorial for updating from 1.7.10 to 1.8 (currently on 1.8, but updating as soon as possible). I thought that a mod can only support a single version? Because, after compiling, the mod gets compiled for version X.X.X, and can only support it. Best regards, SprengMeister02
  16. Hello everyone, since Forge doesn't installl the JAR content anymore, I wanted to know: Can I download the JAR content seperately? Because I wanted to change some things (decompiling the JAR content and install some new classes I've coded). But as you probably know, it is impossible to open the .dll-files without ResourceHacker or something. And the .json-file is not very helpful. Best regards, SprengMeister02
  17. Hello everyone, I have already written a topic about the installer only installing the JSON content. Somebody told me that it works as intended. But now I want to know, why doesn't Forge install a JAR content? I had many issues because of this. And is there any way to get the JAR content? Now, it installs the JSON content and a folder called "natives-[i don't remember]" with some .DLL-files. You know, it is impossible to open DLL-files with a normal text editor (I am currently using NotePad++). Can you answer me that? Best regards, SprengMeister02 PS: If somebody wants to open a DLL-File, use ResourceHacker [http://www.angusj.com/resourcehacker/]. It is a freeware, so no ads and stuff like that It can decompile .EXE, .DLL, .MUI and so on, and it can write and compile .RC and .RES. Sometimes, it is very useful if you want to see what's inside an EXE. Java uses the same format as a ZIP-compressed archive, but EXE cannot be opened renaming it from EXE to ZIP.
  18. Hello everyone! I am not a very experienced modder, but I have a question. If I have written the sourcecode, I compile it with the command: "gradlew build" Then it says "Build successful", but there is not JAR content. I have tried to compile the .class with the commandline, but it didn't work. And I have another problem: if I type "clean", it sometimes doesn't clean up and keep some files, so if I want to set up again with "gradlew SetupDecompworkspace idea" it says there are some errors, "JAVA PATH not set", and so on. Best regards, SprengMeister02 PS: I am currently on 1.8, but I am also supporting 1.10.2, and there is the same problem. I have the problem in every version from 1.7.10 to 1.10.2.
  19. Hello everyone! I know Forge doesn't support 1.7.10 anymore, but I have this problem since months. 1.7.10 is outdated since a long time, but I want this fixed, I tried it on my own, but it doesn't work since February. If I start Forge 1.7.10, it creates the world like normal, but if it is done with preparing spawn area, it says "Shutting down internal server...". Sometimes, I get a crash report, sometimes it doesn't do anything and I have to force closing Minecraft. Best regards, SprengMeister02 PS: Here's the crash report: ---- Minecraft Crash Report ---- // I bet Cylons wouldn't have this problem. 20. Hello Forge Team, I have problems to install Forge. (I don't know how to attach a file, so I hid it in a spoiler, I'm sorry). If I try to install Forge, it only downloads the JSON content, but not the JAR content. I tried it at least 20 times, I deleted Minecraft and installed it new, and I tried the manual installation. Every time it says "Successfully installed client profile forge for version forge ---- into launcher". This is my first post, so don't be angry if I forgot something.
