    The change in version fixed it. Thank you. I thought I was supposed to use the latest version, which would be 358, but 355 is the one that works. Appreciate the assistance.

    I would supply a log, but since Forge never gets a chance to load, there is no log to supply. I've started with a clean version of Minecraft three times now. I've downloaded the very latest version of FML. I've used 7-Zip to transfer files from FML to minecraft.jar. I have deleted META-INF. All of this was done precisely this way every single time. And, yet, every single time I get the Done Loading screen and nothing more. I read the EAQ, which is not at all helpful if one lacks a log, which I lack due to Forge never actually getting to the point of loading. Please assist. I have -no- other mods installed. I am running on Windows XP. I've never had issues with Forge before.
