yeah i did the same thing but it opened for not even a second and closed. Does that mean that step of making a server is done or am i just boned

i downloaded jarfix and i opened it and it just popped up for a second and then it closed.

so what your saying is i should keep winrar and get jarfix? I have never used it before what does it do?

should i just uninstall winrar i have no need for it will that fix it without getting jarfix?

Hello this is my time making a server for friends and i know how to do a regular server but i wanted to make it interesting and put mods into them that i loved when i was little. Anyway i have come to a problem and i looked at the comments in the video of how to make a modded server with forge and there were no answers and the video comments were pretty inactive so i looked around and found nothing. I open the minecraft_server.1.10.2 in java platform and it does this https://gyazo.com/f100a25f592f2d89a8696791e308bc52 for about 30-40 minutes and then it just closes without telling me or anything and i don't really know what to do/change I did all the steps right 5 times and its done the same thing every time. So if someone has answers or solutions please comment thanks.
