Thanks for your fast reply. I updated forge by running the installer again (did not do a fresh download form the site, i figured the installed would handle that). The problem seems to persist though. The lagg is gone though, a reboot of the machine took care of that, while I still find that strange.

I've downloaded the forge installer version 1.10.2 and installed the server to run a dedicated server. After the first initial run all the files are downloaded and the server is up and running, i am able to connect with a client from another machine. About every minute or so i'm getting this error spammed into the console and there seems to be a lagg spike at the same time: Any suggestions as to what i did wrong or how to fix this?
