  1. My goal is to get one of the "newer" modpacks for mc to run. 1.8.9 1.9.4 and 1.10 versions have all failed to launch for the same reason so far. thanks for looking into this guys!
  2. Ive tried with a program called multimc? that seemed popular, and I have tried with curse as well.
  3. yes the installer ran and completed successfully as far as I can tell, I received no errors.
  4. I went to the forge website, and selected the version of forge that matched the version of the game Im trying to play?
  5. Ive tried using MC versions 1.8-current, I cannot get forge to load with minecraft so that i can even attempt to use a modpack, ive uninstalled everything and reinstalled forge minecraft java tried java 7 and 8, tried different "loaders" like the curse loader multimcloader nothing seems to work. I get this error.
