    When Installing Forge doesn't Respond

    My Friend is trying to install 1.8.9 forge, they have Java and have installed Minecraft 1.8.9 but the installer still doesn't work. I've been trying to figure out why and I've expended all my knowledge on such a phenomenon, I think the problem maybe because they are running windows 7.
