    The laptop was set to auto select GPU so it was using the Intel HD graphics instead of the Geforce 940M. I never noticed this because until the 2111 update the game ran fine. I changed it from auto select to always use the 940M and now it works fine.

    I'll give that a shot there but seems like an issue with later version of forge. I have also done a complete windows restore .... been working on this for few days. So this is a fresh install of Win 10 with fresh install of the mod pack.

    Since updating past forge 12.18.2.2107 when my laptop gets to step 7/7 Texture uploading and mipmap it takes 20-25 minutes to finish that step. Can anyone tell me what that step is and how I might fix that. I am using a mod pack All the Mods The laptop has 8GB of Ram and I have 6 allocated for use for minecraft. My other systems are fine loading up and if I downgrade my laptop back to version of the modpack that use version 12.18.2.2107 or older I can load and play minecraft.
