  1. Nevermind I was using "inventario" in place of "inventory" when registering the render, I was falling asleep when I wrote that!

  3. Hi everyone. First of all sorry for any English mistakes, it is not my first language. Please, I need some help with something very basic. I'm completely new to modding but I have experience programming. I have followed this tutorial but my custom item appears as a big cube with a checkered black and pink texture. I have checked for any typos, there are none. There are no errors in the console. I changed the name of the texture to something that doesn't actually exists and the console shows an error. So, the file exists and it is found. Still, I expected to have a flat item with my custom texture. I'm using latest version of Forge for Minecraft 1.11 whilst the tutorial uses 1.10. I've noticed that some things changed, I have been able to fix them, but not this. Please, give me some advice, seems like 1.11 changed something but there is no information on the Internet and my attempts failed.
