    Error after installing forge

    I am in the process of trying to instal mods into Minecraft. I downloaded Forge and installed it. However, when I click Minecraft to open it prior to installing the mod, I get this error message: Forge mod loader has found a problem with your Minecraft installation The mod listed below does not want to run in Minecraft version 1.8. Better title screen (Better title screen) wants Minecraft [1.8.9, 1.8.9] The file'forgemodloader-client-0.log' contains more information Can anyone help all me through this? I am sad and desperate at this point! :-
