  2. When I launch the installer (forge-1.7.10-10.13.4.1614-1.7.10-installer) and put in the path, despite the proper version server being there (I downloaded it via official MC Launcher for the appropriate version) it complains about not having a valid check e-sum and for me to put in the server jar so it can skip that. I even tried putting in the universal forge jar for the same version. It won't launch at all. Proper Java version (1.8.0_282), 64-bit. If I launch just the server jar from Mojang it works fine, populates the files it needs (server.properties and eula.txt), and just chills out. Please help? It's been a few years since I tried setting up a server like this.
  3. I already did, not really a choice in the matter as I have to get the server back up (owner changed hosts).
  4. I was hoping you wouldn't say that.
  5. Trying to run a modded server on Debian Wheezy-based VPS, keep getting this error: https://pastebin.com/tfRk7mqQ All directory perms are proper, starting server with a bash script #!/bin/bash java -server -jar -d64 -Xms1024M -Xmx3064 forge-1.10.2-12.18.3.2316-universal.jar nogui nothing has changed with the server files...
  6. Um, the whole point is so I can have a modded multi-world. Non-modded isn't an issue, but I'm wanting to do a FoolCraft modded multiworld.
  7. I don't mean to necrothread, but I too am interested in this. I've been looking around and all I see are bukkit/spigot plugins. Nothing for forge modded servers past 1.7.2
  8. Sorry, I've been meaning to update this. Found the problem and I believe it's solved, but it's completely moot as I bought a hosted server (though for smaller private games I'll still self-host). The problem was ISP provided equipment whose settings even they couldn't change. I now have a fiber modem/network switch and do my own port forwarding.
  9. I have set up some servers, yet people outside of my (despite having my router and firewall settings correct) home cannot connect to them. I was wondering if someone could help me. They are all Forge-modded, whitelisted servers. I have properly added their username to the whitelist. I am sure of the IP address and port number I'm using, I am sure the settings in my router for port forwarding and in my Windows Firewall config are correct. The only other thing I can think of is that my ISP is blocking me from hosting a game server (which is something that would be new as they generally allow home servers). I would like to totally eliminate all other possibilities, however. I just need one person willing to help. The test server will be Minecraft 1.7.10 modded with Forge 10.13.1558, though on the test server I do not have any mods (since it's a connection test, I figure why bother). I'm on Discord, Curse, Mumble, TeamSpeak and I have vent, even though I have no idea how to set it up.
