Updating a Mod - How to do it correctly?
Thanks for your reply, larsgerrits! While that is indeed very helpful, there are also many other errors, other than just BlockPos. How do I find out what the solutions to those are? Even more interesting to me is how you found out that every method that took 3 integers takes an instance of BlockPos. If I find out how you found it, I can do it for all future mod updates, as well as the other errors in this version.

Updating a Mod - How to do it correctly?
Here's an example of two lines of code that are showing up as red: How do I find what the problem here is? How do I find the optimal solution?

Launch Configuration references non-existing projects
I'm not sure what you mean by the first part. What do you mean the project I want this to run? I have the project open in Eclipse, I want it to run with minecraft. On the second part - I already have the latest version of Forge. 1.11. What I want to do is add Minecraft into the Eclipse so that I can see how Minecraft Vanilla does things, so I can replicate them, as well as seeing how this implementation looks like in 1.11, to help with updating the mod.

Launch Configuration references non-existing projects
When I try to "Run" my stuff, it comes up with the following error: "Launch Configuration X references non-existing projects." Why could this be? On a somewhat unrelated note, how would I decompile Minecraft on Linux and add it into my modding folder, for easier code updating?

Updating a Minecraft Mod on Linux?
It doesn't look like you have a source folder. You need to set src/main/java as a source folder. I thought /src/main/java was already the source folder? How can I set it as the source folder?

Updating a Minecraft Mod on Linux?
I've tried doing that, but it looks like it isn't recognizing the src as a part of "the mod" for some reason. I also tried pressing the green test button, but when Minecraft opened, there were only 3 mods: MCP, Forge Mod Loader, and Minecraft Forge. So that mod I added was not recognized.

Updating a Minecraft Mod on Linux?
Yes, it is. Thanks! Could you answer one more question please? As far as I understand, what should happen now is that errors in the src should show up. This is not happening for some reason, although the mod being updated is coded for 1.7.3., and I am using the latest version of forge.

Updating a Minecraft Mod on Linux?
Thanks, that's exactly what I was looking for. One thing is still unclear to me, however. Sorry if this is elementary, but how do I put the old mod into the new forge to update it? Edit: Is it just a matter of taking the whole src file and just moving the file across?

Updating a Minecraft Mod on Linux?
Sure thing. After running the gradle command, I immidiately went to my Eclipse, then "Open File," and found the example project at /home/user/Desktop/Forge/src/main/java/com/example, then tried to open. Nothing happened, even when I tried to open just the example mod class file. I repeat this for the main mod, nothing happens. I then try "Open Projects from File System" for the main mod, nothing happens. I've also tried opening the example class file with eclipse from the file (i.e. open with).

Updating a Minecraft Mod on Linux?
Hello Guys! I've been having a pretty serious problem preventing me from doing anything - I can't seem to get my workspace set up properly on my Debian Linux. I have JDK, Eclipse and Java all working well. I used ./gradlew setupDecompWorkspace eclipse, and it set up correctly. However, I tried launching the Forge test mod through eclipse, and it just said "no project recognized." Then I tried it for the main mod I want to update, but it said the same thing. There are no .ipr files anywhere. How can I proceed?
