    Add flavour text to items?

    Hello! I'm new to modding and want to add flavour text to my items, a la Artifice. I've searched multiple places looking for an example or tutorial on how to do so, including Google, Youtube, here, and even the Artifice source code on Github. Is there a certain method used for editing item and block properties I need to use? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance! Here's an image of what I'm looking for. I'm only concerned with the darker italic text.
